The Goal of an Interior Designer

Deciding on how you decorate your own room or your children’s room can be very exciting matter for some people. Most of the people will take into account the aesthetic and emotional subject applied for their rooms. Thanks to the interior designer who can assist us to grasp our ideas and vision on how comfortable our children’s room will be and bring our vision into reality.

Interior design is a discipline on how to creatively design and decorate an empty space with interiors aspects, such as windows, furniture, windows, doors, flooring, lighting, and various house wares. The aim of interior design is to design one place to be comfortable, pleasing, beautiful, and modern, and generally the room is designed based on one’s needs that hire an interior designer to please and satisfy one’s vision. These are several interior design courses which you can focus on: Landscape and Garden Design, Color Consultancy, Lighting Design, Curtain and Soft Furnishings, Wedding and Event Planning, Image and Fashion Styling, etc. Each course has its own discipline to focus on, for example; Curtains and Soft Furnishing is a discipline that facilitates you to understand how various items or materials can be made and fitted based on various techniques that you will learn, however, the opportunity to automatically create soft furnishing is the privilege of the designer themselves.

Not only should the interior designer be excellent in decorating and designing a space, but s/he is also expected to be brilliant in engineering. Interior designer should have the combination of three knowledge both as an artist, as an engineer, and as a partner. The knowledge as an artist allows the interior designer to formulate sparkling concepts, such as the concepts of varieties of the colors, styles, fabric, furniture, as well as each material of the furniture. While the knowledge as an engineer allows the interior designer to fully comprehend about the safety, electrical capacity, and also construction itself.

The knowledge as a partner provides the interior designer the capability to work mutually with the contractors, clients and the tenant so that s/he can visualize the tenant’s dream based the set budget from the tenant. In other words, as an interior designer s/he has to be able to stabilize between her/his own taste and the style or taste of the tenant. Of course, in the realization of work, the interior designer must locate the tenant’s style and taste on top of his/her taste of style.
